Value Statement

Austin Community College District believes that participation in orientation increases the likelihood students will succeed in meeting their declared educational goals.

Administrative Rule

All new college credit students attending ACC are required to complete orientation prior to registering for their first-term classes; however, new college credit students who have completed 12 credit hours or more at a previous college or university are exempt from the orientation requirement.
